Carl Albert High School’s pom pon squad was crowned state champions
for Class 5A in a competition held at the University of Oklahoma in
October. In addition to the state title, the team won first place in the
jazz category. Many of the Titan pom squad also was recognized for
achieving a 3.5 grade point average or better. Read more

Choctaw had a chance to go ahead in the final seconds but the ball went out of bounds with three tenths of a second left giving possession to the Lady Panthers. On the inbounds play a pushing foul was called on Putnam North and the ball was turned over to Choctaw under their own basket. Read more

Midwest City slips in rematch with Putnam City Pirates, 71-65

Noel scored 20 points to lead Midwest City to the third place trophy of
the Putnam City Invitational Saturday with a comfortable 66-46 win over
No. 8 Putnam West.
