Bulldogs get revenge on Del City for earlier loss

Memorial, ranked No. 2, got revenge for a 67-62 loss to Del City in December. Like the previous matchup, the home team was the winner as the Bulldogs improved their season record to 17-1. Del City, meanwhile, dropped to 14-5 and remains tied with Carl Albert as the top-ranked team in 5A, according to okrankings. Read more

Lady Bulldogs sweep past Del City, 72-47

The Lady Eagles were the first to score and kept the lead through much of the first quarter and were up 9-6 with 2:36 remaining. But that was the last time Del City would be on the up side of the score as the Lady Bulldogs reeled off seven unanswered points in the final two minutes of the period to take a 13-9 lead at the break. Boys basketball roundup

The Choctaw boys’ basketball team defeated the Mustang Broncos 53-52 in overtime Tuesday night. Tyler Gossett tied the game with 13 seconds left in regulation, and Reggie Wright sank the front end of a 1-and-1 with 2.8 seconds to go in the overtime period to seal the victory. Read more
