Thunder’s turnover problem persists in season’s 2nd half

When looking at the record of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the casual observer might think there are no problems for the top team in the Western Conference.

However, a closer examination of key stats will illustrate that the Thunder has one major issue to improve on – turnovers.

The high number of turnovers has been a constant source of worry for head coach Scott Brooks.

So far, Oklahoma City has shown the uncanny ability to have more turnovers than their opponent and still win. Not so last week when the Thunder played at Atlanta and committed 21 turnovers compared to 14 for the Hawks.

Player’s shot blocking creates name change

Again, the Bombers put together a potential game-winning situation with runners on base. One hit and the Bombers would have gotten their revenge from an earlier tournament loss to Norman North. Titan boys lose in shootout; girls dominated by Santa Fe

The Wolves outscored the Titans in the shootout to notch the 1-0 victory. Carl Albert now stands at 3-1 with wins over Guymon, Chickasha and Mustang and is ranked No. 6 in Class 5A.
