Obituary: Trey King

By Eastword Staff

Raymond Randall “Trey” King, 13, passed away on the 25th day of November 2011. Trey was born on Oct. 20, 1998, in Midwest City to Randy and Trina King. Trey was a beautiful soul wrapped in a vibrant package filled with delightful laughter. His final days were spent filled with joy, surrounded by family and friends. Although Trey’s life was too short, those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which one lives.

Trey enjoyed the outdoors and did everything with exuberance. He enjoyed all water sports, camping, hiking and ripsticking. Trey recently hiked the Grand Canyon with his Dad and brother and had a blast. With Trey’s passing, we wish to remind others that his life is one to be celebrated.

Although we will miss him every day, especially his mischievous smile. Trey will forever remain in our hearts and he leaves us a lifetime of precious memories to cherish forever. It has truly been our greatest gift to have had Trey in our lives.

Trey is survived by his loving parents, Randy and Trina King; brother, Ryan; sister, Ariele; brother, Chase; paternal grandparents, Ray and Carol King; and numerous family and friends. Trey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary (MeMa) and Gerald (Pappy) Trimm. Services will be held on December 1st at 12:30 p.m. at Nicoma Park Middle School. Arrangements provided by Barnes-Friederich, Funeral Home. Interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
