Choctaw Christmas parade, festival slated for Saturday

The parade theme will be “Remembering Our Men and Women in Uniform.” Retired Col. Kevin Jones, of the Choctaw High School Air Force Junior ROTC program, will serve as grand marshal.

The parade will start at Choctaw Middle School, heading south on Main Street to N.E. 23rd Street. At that point, the parade will go west on N.E. 23rd Street and disperse at the Town Plaza Shopping Center.

The Christmas Festival will begin as soon as the parade concludes. The festival will be held at 14355 N.E. 23rd in the Town Plaza Shopping Center. Children can have their photographs taken with Santa, receive a train ride and a bag of treats and a toy. Free refreshments will be available.
