Choctaw dominates PC West
It was a dominating performance as the Choctaw Yellow Jackets took out the Putnam City West Patriots 76-6.  The Patriots came out strong with a quick pin by Brandon Sparks to defeat Jordan Brandon in just 28 seconds after the first period.

Choctaw Yellow Jackets vs. Putnam City North Panthers
Two wildly different 6A basketball matchups broke out as the No. 5 ranked Choctaw Lady Yellow Jackets blew out the No. 10 ranked Putnam City North Lady Panthers 44-26. On the men’s side, the unranked Yellow Jackets fell to the No. 20 ranked Panthers 64-37.

Crusaders Fall Short to Bulldogs in Tulsa
Last Friday, the Christian Heritage Crusaders traveled all the way to Tulsa to take on the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs. The girls have some room for improvement after losing 67-47. The boys also fell short, but they stayed much closer with the Bulldogs falling 65-61.

Tough challenges ahead in 1st round of playoffs

It was an interesting season with ups and downs for every team. Four of our five Eastern Oklahoma County schools aren’t done yet. Harrah, Del City, Carl Albert and Midwest City all made it to the playoffs this year. Let’s see how they stack up in the first round.
