On May 22, two local Oklahoma kids won the trip of a lifetime after winning the McDonald’s Player Escort Sweepstakes.
Caleb Phillips, 10, and Asher Westberg, 8, joined 24 other kids from all over the United States who earned the right to escort a Team USA soccer player at Brazil in the World Cup in a few weeks. Thursday, June 05, 2014

Carl Albert baseball won its third straight 5A state title over the weekend. They defeated Deer Creek 9-4 last Saturday to claim their 2014 state title behind a 3-run blast from first baseman Cameron Warren and three innings of great pitching by Justin McGregor.
Cameron Warren promised they’d be louder Saturday than on Friday if they won it all. Carl Albert didn’t disappoint, rushing the mound after their 9-4 win over Deer Creek. Thursday, May 22, 2014

If ever there was a game both teams deserved to lose, it was the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 105-104 potentially series-swinging win over the Los Angles Clippers Tuesday night.

Each of our five teams sent at least one competitor each: together they sent 51 athletes.
