The event includes various family-friendly vendors, carnival for the kids and a raffle. All funds raised star in Oklahoma benefit programs that help children in all 77 Oklahoma Counties. Participants will help the teen board to reach its goal of raising $12,000 to help Oklahoma’s kids.
The event is being held to help raised awareness for Children’s Hospital Foundation and its mission to improve the health of children through pediatric research and education programs. The CMNH Teen Board consists of 24 local teenagers who donate their time and energy to volunteer to raise funds and awareness for Oklahoma’s sick and injured children.
As of early 2015, the teen board had raised approximately $4,000. They hope to significantly add to that number in the 2015-2016 term year.
