The Midwest City Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a diverse group of bands for this year’s Summer and Fall Concert series. Bands or solo artists should be family-friendly entertainment and appeal to a large variety of ages.

Submissions will be accepted through 4:00 p.m. March 5, 2015. Submissions should include information about the band (or solo act), style of music, preferred pay and a demo of the music by website or CD. Submissions may be dropped off to the Midwest City Community Center at 200 N. Midwest Boulevard or emailed to [email protected].

Concerts in the Park are free and open to the public. The Summer Concert Series will take place 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday in June and July at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park. The Fall Concert Series will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Charles J. Johnson Central Park.
