The Oklahoma County Election Board announced today that the candidate filing period ending January 14th, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. resulted in
City Council Members left to right: Ron Bradshaw, Jerry Bower, Jeannie Abts, Mayor Randy Ross, Roger Malone, Steve Krieske, and Larry Goeller.
candidates for Choctaw Mayor and Council seat for Wards 1, 3 and 5 resulted in no opponents for those seats. As a result, the incumbents for those offices will remain unchanged. The results were:
Mayor — Randy Ross
Ward 1 — Ronald Dean Bradshaw
Ward 3 — Jeannie Abts
Ward 5 — Steve Krieske
Per the City of Choctaw’s website: “Choctaw has been governed by the Council-Manager form of government since 1973. Seven citizens serve on the City Council with six elected by ward and the Mayor elected at large, each for a four year term.
The Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. The City Council chambers are located at Choctaw City Hall, 2500 North Choctaw Road.”
