Cemetery to add section for veterans

The Veterans Garden will have 450 plots and feature a large granite stone in the center. The stone will resemble the shape of Oklahoma on one side, with the American flag placed in the middle of the state outline, said Sunny Lane Managing Director Todd Shiplett. Read more

ODOT has established statewide standards for traffic control signs, including temporary traffic control for work zones but the standards are not always met, resulting in signs that may be hard to see or easily obstructed. Crusader Care Day

Students from Christian Heritage Academy participated in the school’s annual Crusaders Day April 10 as teams of workers performed community service work throughout Del City, Midwest City and Edmond. High school-age students performed heavy lifting, cleaned portable lockers and painted bathrooms at the Del City municipal swimming pool. Read more
