Two lucky Spencer 3rd Graders each won a bicycle in a drawing from among all those who maintained an A or improved by at least one letter grade in any subject. Spencer Chamber of Commerce member businesses Advantage Bank and Spencer Heat & Air have each donated a bicycle for this semester’s Bring Up Grades program. The Chamber also donated safety helmets.

Both of the bike winners happened to be in Ms. Wakefield’s third grade class. The program has been sponsored at Spencer Elementary School for the past several years by the Spencer Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Midwest City Kiwanis Club.

The winner of the girl’s bike was Lea Hart, who was not present. Winner of the boy’s bike was Sergio Hays, who got to take his prize for a spin down the halls of the school!
