Filing for positions on the Midwest City city council concluded Wednesday.
Jack Fry, 62, did not draw an opponent in the mayor’s race.
In Ward 1, Daniel McClure, 26, and Thurston Dandridge, 48, will face off. In Ward 3, incumbent Rick Dawkins, 61, drew two opponents. They are: Espaniola Bowen, 55, and Cedrick Ford, 51.
Finally, in ward 5, another incumbent faces two challengers. Wendell D. Boucher, 40, faces Christine P. Allen, 57, and Daniel N. Stankiewicz, 61.
On Oct. 22, the city council set the primary election, if needed, for Tuesday, March 4, followed by the general election on Tuesday, April 1.
