Christmas music, voices and bells will ring throughout the Del City High School auditorium Saturday, Dec. 14.
Starting at 7:30 p.m., the Oklahoma Choral Artists, conducted by John Blackwell and accompanied by pianist Jean Shackleton, will present "Welcome, Yule."
Joining the OCA in this musical celebration of Christmas will be the choirs of Del City High School, directed by Brenda Mechling, the Edmond Youth Chorus conducted by Leah McDonald and the Oklahoma City Handbell Ensemble directed by Silver Woodbury.
All seats are general admission at $5 with all proceeds going directly to the Mid-Del Food Pantry.
The choirs of Del City High School have a long history of excellence and have received many state and national awards for their work both as concert and show choirs. They will perform both concert and show choir selections during the program.
The chorus Daybreak will perform "Christmas is the Best Time of the Year" and "Silent Night." The Del Aires will present "Little Drummer Boy," "White Christmas," "Thanks A Lot But No Thanks" and "Santa Baby."
