Wedges sizzle at Hidden Creek

The ladies of the Hidden Creek Golf Association brought their wedges to the course Oct. 25, posting five chip-ins while playing low gross in the Rally for the Cure.

Wanda Pruitt and Linda Foshee chipped in on No. 2, and the duo of Idella Wright and Ruth Killough each popped one in on the eighth hole. Shirley McLain was the lone wolf, backspinning her ball into the cup on the sixth hole. Pruitt’s and McLain’s darts landed in for birdies.

Linda Molina, who stuck a birdie on hole six, was the champion of A flight, with Foshee coming up in second. In B flight, Wright was tops, while C flight had three tie for first place in Debbi Leeper, Carol Bryant and Debby Harbison.
