Midwest Boulevard Christian Church holds bone-marrow registry drive

Doctors diagnosed Orr, the mother of two girls, with paroxysmal hemoglobinuria and she has a blood transfusion every five weeks.

Becoming a member of the national bone-marrow registry will take about 10 minutes, organizers said, as attendees fill out a form and then have their cheek swabbed.
